I recieved this huge male C.insculpta this week from germany. Because of the size he must be about 15 to 20 years old. A real beauty. He was shouting like a seal when I opened the box. I did not know that turtles are able to make such a noise. The skin of the carpax looks very different from my turtles. Maybe a result of different housing an feeding habits, or it's an Australian specimen and not from Papua. These protected and very rare animals are the most interesting and beautiful turtles.
